The Elgato Stream Deck+ in white is a desktop control surface built for people who run live streams, recordings, meetings and creative apps at the same time. Instead of hunting through menus with a mouse, you get eight customisable LCD keys, four pushable rotary dials and an LCD touch panel in one compact unit. Every key shows its own icon, every dial controls a setting you adjust in small steps, and the touch panel shows what each dial is currently doing. Tap, turn and touch

The three control types each suit a different job. LCD keys handle single actions: switch a scene, mute a microphone, start a recording, launch an app or trigger a sound effect. The icon on each key updates with the action, so you always know what a press will do. The dials handle values that change in steps, such as volume, gain, brightness, white balance or camera zoom, and pressing a dial cycles it to its next assigned function. The touch panel between them displays dial information at a glance and lets you swipe between pages of controls, so eight keys and four dials cover far more than twelve actions.

Audio and production control

For streamers and podcasters, Stream Deck+ works as a hands-on audio station. It unlocks Elgato Wave Link mixing software, giving dial-level control over microphone level, game audio, music and other sources in the mix, without opening the mixer window mid-stream. In production software it can switch cameras, pan and zoom, change scenes and control lighting, turning a one-person setup into something closer to a small production console. Multi Actions chain several commands to a single key, so one press can start the stream, switch the scene, post a notification and adjust the lights together.

Customisation and plugins

Profiles hold different layouts for different apps, and Smart Profiles can switch the layout automatically when you move between programs. Folders and Dial Stacks organise larger control sets, and custom icons can be created or downloaded so keys read clearly at a glance. The plugin library covers streaming platforms, video and photo editing, productivity tools, timers, audio switching and smart lighting, and the Elgato Marketplace adds further profiles, icons and effects.

Setup and compatibility

Setup is a single USB-C connection and the free Stream Deck software. Elgato lists Windows 11 or newer and macOS 13 or newer as current system requirements, with a USB-C 3.0 port on the computer side. The white version ships with a 150 cm USB-C to USB-C cable and quick start guide. At 465 g it stays put when dials are turned and keys pressed in quick succession.
