Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier

Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier – All-in-One Streamer, DAC, CD Player, and 60 W Amplifier

The Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier is an all-in-one hi-fi component that combines a network streamer, DAC, preamplifier, Class-D power amplifier, and a CD player into a single compact chassis. Its 5.5-inch LCD touchscreen, AK4493SEQ DAC, and 60 W per channel output at 8 ohms make it a complete system for anyone who wants streaming, CDs, vinyl, and TV audio without a rack of separate boxes. The CD Edition is the version with a built-in CD-ROM drive, so the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier plays and rips your CD collection as well as streaming from every major service.

Why Choose the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier?

The Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier is compelling because it replaces four or five components with one that is genuinely good at each job. As a streamer it is Roon Ready with Tidal and Qobuz Connect, DLNA, and Bluetooth 5.3, and it plays files up to DSD512 and PCM 768 kHz at 32-bit. As an amplifier it delivers 60 W RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 110 W RMS per channel into 4 ohms with a signal-to-noise ratio above 109 dB, enough to drive bookshelf or floorstanding speakers with confidence. The phono input supports both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges with accurate RIAA equalisation, the HDMI ARC input brings TV sound into the same speakers, and the subwoofer output with an adjustable 40 to 500 Hz crossover lets you add a sub later. With the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier, a pair of speakers is all you need to complete a modern hi-fi system.

Key Features

• Built-in CD player (CD Edition): The CD-ROM drive plays CDs and supports CD ripping to the built-in 32 GB storage; the base Play model has no CD drive, which is why this listing is the CD Edition.
• 60 W x 2 Class-D amplification: 60 W RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 110 W RMS per channel into 4 ohms, with THD below 0.0037 percent and a damping factor above 107.
• High-resolution streaming and DAC: AK4493SEQ DAC with playback up to DSD512 and PCM 768 kHz at 32-bit, Roon Ready, Tidal and Qobuz Connect, and DLNA.
• Phono input for turntables: Moving-magnet (60 dB) and moving-coil (74 dB) phono stages with RIAA accuracy within 0.5 dB bring vinyl into the same system.
• HDMI ARC and subwoofer output: HDMI ARC connects your TV, and the dedicated subwoofer output with adjustable 40 to 500 Hz crossover grows with your system.
• 5.5-inch touchscreen control: The colour touchscreen, companion app, and Bluetooth 5.3 make the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier easy to run from the sofa or the rack.

Best Suited For

The Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier is best suited for listeners starting a serious hi-fi system, downsizers replacing a stack of separates, and anyone with a CD collection who also streams. It suits a living room with a pair of bookshelf speakers, a study with a turntable and a CD shelf, or a bedroom system where one elegant box must handle TV, streaming, vinyl, and discs. It is also an excellent second system for a home office or den.

Setup and Connection Guide

Connect your speakers to the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier speaker outputs, matching polarity, and plug in the mains supply. Join your network over Gigabit Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi, then sign in to your streaming services from the touchscreen or app. To play a CD, insert the disc into the CD drive on the side of the unit and select CD playback or ripping from the menu. Connect a turntable to the phono input and select MM or MC to match your cartridge, connect your TV over HDMI ARC for television sound, and use the optical or coaxial inputs for any other digital source. If you add a subwoofer, connect it to the subwoofer output and set the crossover between 40 and 500 Hz to blend with your main speakers. Adjust volume from the touchscreen, the app, or your phone over Bluetooth, and the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier handles source switching automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Eversolo Play and the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier?

The CD Edition adds a built-in CD-ROM drive for CD playback and ripping, and weighs 2.9 kg instead of 2.6 kg; the base Play has no CD drive. This listing is specifically the CD Edition.

Can the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier play vinyl records?

Yes. It has a dedicated phono input with separate moving-magnet and moving-coil stages, so most turntables connect directly without an external phono preamp.

Does the Eversolo Play CD Edition Streaming Amplifier need external speakers?

Yes. It is a streaming amplifier, not a complete speaker system, so it needs a pair of passive speakers; it does not include speakers in the box.
