Belkin SOUNDFORM CONNECT AirPlay 2 Audio Adapter

Belkin SOUNDFORM CONNECT AirPlay 2 Audio Adapter
Belkin SOUNDFORM CONNECT AirPlay 2 is a Wi-Fi audio receiver that adds AirPlay 2 playback to a compatible existing audio system through analogue 3.5mm or optical digital output. Why Choose Belkin SOUNDFORM CONNECT AirPlay 2? Belkin identifies the SOUNDFORM CONNECT audio adapter as the AUZ002 family. It receives supported AirPlay audio and sends a signal to a suitable amplifier or active speaker rather than driving passive cabinets directly. USB-C supplies power; it should not be advertised as a computer audio-capture interface. Follow Belkin’s supported iPhone/iPad setup process and connect it to the appropriate Wi-Fi network. The receiving system determines the speaker power and input compatibility. AirPlay 2 support is distinct from Bluetooth pairing, and the manufacturer’s setup guidance does not establish Android setup support. Key Features – AirPlay 2 reception: supported Apple Wi-Fi audio route. – 3.5mm analogue output: compatible line input. – Optical digital output: supported digital receiver connection. – USB-C power: external operating supply role. Best Suited For
Adding supported AirPlay audio reception to an existing amplifier or active-speaker setup with a suitable input. The receiver delivers an audio signal, while the downstream system supplies speaker amplification. Choose the connection around the amplifier’s available analogue or digital input and the supported Apple source and network arrangement. Setup and Connection Guide
Connect the adapter’s appropriate audio output to the receiving amplifier or active speaker input with a compatible cable. Attach the specified power supply and follow the manufacturer’s setup procedure using a supported iPhone or iPad and Wi-Fi network. Select the adapter from the supported AirPlay source and start playback with the amplifier volume low. Check the chosen output route and left/right playback before normal listening. Keep the adapter powered and network-connected for operation. If a digital input is used, confirm the receiving equipment accepts the output format; do not connect an output to another output. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I set it up as an ordinary Android Bluetooth adapter? Belkin documents Apple-device AirPlay setup rather than Android Bluetooth pairing. Use a supported iPhone or iPad and the specified Wi-Fi arrangement; choose another receiver if Bluetooth is the required connection. Can this receiver directly power passive loudspeakers? No. It supplies an audio output for suitable receiving equipment. Passive speakers still need an amplifier, while active speakers must have an appropriate line or digital input and their own power supply. Does AirPlay support mean this is a Bluetooth receiver? No. AirPlay and Bluetooth are different connection systems. Use the documented Wi-Fi and supported Apple-device arrangement; do not infer Bluetooth pairing or universal Android operation from the wireless-audio description.
