Marantz Cinema 40 – 9.4 Channel 8k Dolby Atmos Network Av Receiver

Marantz Cinema 40: 9.4 Channel 8K Dolby Atmos Power for a True Home Cinema

The Marantz Cinema 40 brings nine amplified channels, 8K video handling and built-in HEOS streaming into one refined receiver. It is engineered for owners who want cinema-scale immersion with the warm, musical voicing Marantz is known for.

Built for Immersive Home Cinema

A dedicated home theatre demands a receiver that can drive every speaker in the room with authority. The Cinema 40 delivers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms across nine amplified channels, giving you the headroom to run a full 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos layout without strain. Explosions land with weight, dialogue stays clear, and quiet passages retain their delicacy.

What It Is

The Marantz Cinema 40 is a 9.4 channel network AV receiver from the Marantz Cinema series. It combines a nine-channel power amplifier, 8K-ready HDMI switching and modern surround decoding with the HEOS multiroom platform, so it works as the control centre for both your cinema and your wider music system.

Key Features

• Nine amplified channels at 125 watts each: Power a full Dolby Atmos or DTS:X speaker layout from a single chassis, with reserves for demanding film soundtracks.
• 8K and 4K/120 HDMI: Seven HDMI inputs and three outputs with HDCP 2.3 let you connect next-generation consoles, streamers and displays without compromise.
• Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced: Decode the leading object-based and height formats so every disc and stream plays as the director intended.
• HEOS built-in streaming: Stream music services and share audio across rooms from the HEOS app, with no extra adaptor required.
• High-resolution file support: Play DSD, FLAC, WAV and ALAC files up to 192 kHz and 24-bit for critical listening as well as movies.
• Optional Dirac Live room correction: Available as an upgrade to tune the system to your room and reduce the colouration your walls and furniture add.

Why Marantz Cinema 40 Stands Out

Many receivers chase feature lists at the expense of sound. The Cinema 40 is built around the Marantz philosophy that a receiver should be as satisfying for music as it is for film. The result is a confident, natural presentation with a dependable nine-channel amplifier section, a wide range of surround formats and connectivity that stays relevant as your display and source components evolve. It is a receiver you can build a system around and keep for years.

Perfect For

• Dedicated home theatres running a Dolby Atmos or Auro-3D speaker layout
• Gamers and movie fans with 8K and 4K/120 capable consoles and displays
• Music lovers who want HEOS multiroom streaming alongside a serious surround system

Pair it with quality floorstanding or bookshelf speakers, in-ceiling or Atmos modules and a powered subwoofer to unlock its full potential.
