Audient ID24 10-in/14-out Usb-c Audio Interface With 3 Year Warranty 24-bit/96khz Resolution, 2 Mic Preamps, Instrument Input, 16-channel Adat I/o, Dsp Mixer, And Dual Headphones Output – Mac/pc

Audient iD24 – Console Preamps and Serious Conversion in a Desktop Interface

The Audient iD24 is a 10-in, 14-out USB-C audio interface for producers who have outgrown a basic two-channel box. At its heart are two Audient Console microphone preamps – the class-A discrete design from the company’s ASP8024 consoles – paired with high-performance Burr-Brown conversion, a JFET instrument input and ADAT expansion for when a session needs more channels.

A DSP mixer, dual headphone capability and proper monitor control are built in, so the iD24 works as the control centre of a project studio rather than just a way to plug a microphone into a computer.

Key features

• 10-in / 14-out USB-C audio interface
• 2 Audient Console class-A microphone preamps with 58 dB gain
• Burr-Brown converters for accurate, detailed conversion
• 24-bit / 96 kHz recording resolution
• JFET instrument input for guitar and bass DI tracking
• ADAT optical input for 8 additional channels of expansion
• DSP-powered iD mixer for low-latency monitoring and routing
• Dual headphone outputs for engineer and performer
• ScrollControl – the volume encoder doubles as a DAW scroll wheel

The preamp is the point

Every recording you make passes through the microphone preamp first, and it is the component that budget interfaces economise on. Audient built its reputation by putting the same preamp design from its large-format consoles into the iD range: discrete, class-A and deliberately transparent, with the headroom to take loud sources and the low noise floor that quiet sources demand. Ribbon and dynamic microphones that need plenty of gain stay clean, and condensers sound open rather than squeezed. It is the main reason engineers step up to an Audient, and the iD24 gives you two channels of it plus line and instrument options.

Conversion and monitoring you can mix on

Premium Burr-Brown converters keep both directions of the signal path honest, so what you record is faithful and what you hear while mixing is the recording, not the interface. The DSP mixer handles cue mixes and direct monitoring inside the interface, keeping latency out of the performer’s headphones, and ScrollControl turns the main encoder into a scroll wheel for your DAW – a small idea that speeds up every session once you have lived with it.

Room to expand

The ADAT input accepts eight more channels from an external preamp at 48 kHz, so a drum kit or a live band session is an expansion unit away rather than a new interface away. Four line outputs cover a main monitor pair plus an alternate set or external processing. Everything else is laid out for one-person operation: gain, monitoring and cue mixes are all reachable from the desk without menu-diving, which is how most project studio sessions actually run.

For home and project studios that want console-grade preamps, trustworthy conversion and a genuine growth path, the iD24 is the considered choice in Audient’s range.
