Best Suited For
Home and professional recording workflows where microphones, instruments or line sources need a computer audio connection. Choose the number of simultaneous inputs first, then check monitoring, digital expansion and computer support. DSP capability and included software are separate considerations from the physical recording-channel count. Setup and Connection Guide
Check the exact model’s current driver and operating-system requirements before installation. Connect it through the specified port and cable, then select the interface in the recording software. Begin with gain and monitor level low, configure the required input type and test each source. Enable phantom power only for microphones or devices that require and support it. Save a simple working routing setup before adding more complex processing. Frequently Asked Questions
Is this just a Heritage Edition with a different name? No. Gen 2 identifies a later hardware platform. Heritage Edition refers to a software package associated with eligible earlier units. Compare generation, workflow features and supplied licences separately. Does a USB-C-shaped port always mean Thunderbolt? No. USB-C describes a connector shape, while USB and Thunderbolt are different connection standards. The interface, computer port and cable must all support the required standard. Are extra plug-ins and cables always included? Package contents and software licences vary by edition and registration status. Confirm the supplied cables, breakout accessories and eligible software rather than assuming that every listing includes the same bundle. Technical Specifications Specification
