The trade-off, stated plainly

Eneloop pro trades cycle count for capacity: up to 500 recharges against the standard eneloop’s higher cycle life, in exchange for roughly a quarter more capacity per charge. For equipment that earns its living on runtime per set, that is the right trade. Use a quality Ni-MH charger, ideally one that charges cells individually, keep a charged rotation for each device, and mark sets so the same four cells work and rest together.
