Accsoon CineView 2 SE Wireless Video Transmission

The Accsoon CineView 2 SE is a wireless video transmitter and receiver kit that sends a camera’s HDMI or SDI signal to monitors and mobile devices without cables. It transmits up to 1080p60 video over a line-of-sight range of up to 1500 feet (450 m) with latency under 50 ms, using Accsoon’s dual-band technology to broadcast on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously. Directors, focus pullers and clients can each watch the same feed at once, anywhere on set.

Key features

• Wireless range up to 1500 ft (450 m) line of sight, latency under 50 ms
• Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz transmission sent simultaneously
• Transmitter inputs: HDMI (up to 4K60 input) and 3G-SDI (up to 1080p60)
• Receiver outputs: HDMI and SDI, plus HDMI loop-out on the transmitter
• One transmitter feeds up to four receivers and smart devices in total
• Accsoon SEE app monitoring with professional assist tools
• Fanless aluminium units with 1.47-inch full-colour LCD screens

Dual-band transmission

Most wireless video systems hop between channels and hope for a clear one. The CineView design sends the same image on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands at the same time, and the receiver combines the two streams into one complete picture, discarding whatever interference damages. In practice that means a stable feed on crowded sets and at events where dozens of other radios are competing. The 1500-foot line-of-sight range gives camera operators real freedom of movement, and with latency under 50 ms the monitored image stays close enough to real time for focus pulling and live direction.

Connections and monitoring

The transmitter accepts HDMI at up to UHD/DCI 4K60 and SDI at up to 1080p60, with an HDMI loop output for a local on-camera monitor; the receiver outputs both HDMI and SDI for production monitors and recorders. Wireless transmission itself is up to 1080p60 with embedded two-channel audio. A single transmitter can serve any mix of dedicated receivers and phones or tablets running the Accsoon SEE app, up to four devices total, and the system is cross-compatible with other CineView models. The SEE app adds monitoring tools including waveform, vectorscope, histogram, false colour, zebra, focus peaking, LUTs and de-squeeze, turning a tablet into a genuine director’s monitor.

Power and handling

Each unit runs from an NP-F (L-series) battery plate, a DC input accepting 7.4 to 16.8V, or USB-C at 5V/3A, so batteries can be hot-swapped against mains power on long shoots. Consumption is low — under 6W for the transmitter and under 5W for the receiver. The fanless aluminium housings stay silent on set, the bright 1.47-inch colour LCD shows input format, band and battery status at a glance, and mounting is via a 1/4-inch-20 thread or cold shoe. Each unit measures 106.5 x 60 x 27.5 mm excluding antennas, small enough to live permanently on a camera rig.

For film sets, live events and corporate shoots that need dependable wireless monitoring without a premium-system budget, the CineView 2 SE covers the essentials with range and stability to spare.
