The Devialet Gemini II are the second-generation true wireless earbuds from the French audio house Devialet, finished here in Matte Black. Devialet applied the same engineering priorities it uses in its Phantom speakers — high output from a small enclosure, very low distortion and authoritative low frequencies — to a 6-gram in-ear design. The result is a flagship earbud built around a custom 10 mm high-sensitivity driver with a titanium coating.

That driver covers 5 Hz to 20 kHz and can reach 120 dB SPL, with total harmonic distortion kept below 0.1 percent at 100 dB and 1 kHz. Noise Cancellation and Calls

Devialet’s adaptive noise cancellation uses a dual-microphone system to match cancellation continuously to the surroundings, reducing external noise by up to 40 dB, while a transparency mode brings the outside world back when needed. Calls receive dedicated processing: a bone-conduction voice sensor works with the dual microphones to isolate your voice, and Active Wind Reduction keeps conversations intelligible outdoors. Internal Delay Compensation maintains clarity by compensating for the acoustics of the ear canal.

Battery, Charging and Controls

The earbuds run for up to 5 hours per charge, with the 49 g case extending total listening to up to 22 hours. The case supports both USB-C and Qi wireless charging. In-ear detection pauses playback when a bud is removed, and the touch controls on both earbuds can be reassigned in the Devialet Gemini app, which also manages EQ, ANC modes and firmware updates.

Fit and Finish

The Matte Black edition keeps the design understated: compact stemless earbuds and a rounded 65 x 39 x 27 mm case that disappears into a pocket.
