JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx Headphones (Blue)

JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx Headphones (Blue) – Flagship Noise-Cancelling Headphones with Smart Tx Transmitter

The JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx is JBL’s flagship over-ear headphone, and the Smart Tx transmitter bundled in the box is what separates it from the standard model. The pocket-sized transmitter plugs into sources that have no Bluetooth of their own – in-flight entertainment screens, gym equipment, televisions – and sends their audio wirelessly to the headphones, with a touchscreen for controls and settings.

The headphones themselves carry JBL’s True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, 40 mm dynamic drivers and up to 70 hours of battery life with noise cancelling off. This listing is the blue finish, supplied with the Smart Tx transmitter, USB-C cables and a carrying case.

The Smart Tx transmitter

Many travel frustrations come down to one missing feature: the screen in front of you cannot pair with your headphones. The Smart Tx solves that by taking audio from a 3.5 mm jack or USB-C port and transmitting it to the Tour One M3, so films and announcements arrive in your own noise-cancelling headphones. The transmitter runs for up to 18 hours per charge, weighs 34.5 g, and can also broadcast to other Auracast-enabled JBL products, which is handy for sharing a film on a long flight.

Noise cancelling and sound

True Adaptive ANC 2.0 uses the headphone’s microphone system to measure your surroundings and adjust cancellation, while Ambient Aware and TalkThru let outside sound in when you need it. The 40 mm drivers deliver a rated response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, and JBL Spatial 360 with head tracking widens film and music soundstages. Personi-Fi 3.0 builds a personal hearing profile in the app, so the EQ compensates for your own hearing rather than a generic curve.

Battery, calls and everyday use

Battery life is rated at up to 70 hours with Bluetooth on and ANC off, and up to 40 hours with ANC on – enough for a week of long-haul travel. Talk time runs to 38 hours, the call microphones keep your voice clear in busy terminals, and a short USB-C top-up restores hours of playback when you are caught short. Multipoint Bluetooth keeps a phone and a laptop connected at once, and Smart Talk lowers the barrier for a quick conversation when you start speaking.

If you travel often and want one headphone for the phone, the laptop and the seat-back screen, the Tour One M3 Smart Tx in blue covers all three without extra adapters, and its battery comfortably outlasts the longest itineraries.
