LD Systems CURV 500 PS Portable Array System

LD Systems CURV 500 PS Portable Array System

The LD Systems CURV 500 PS Portable Array System is the Power Set version of LD Systems’ compact CURV 500 array, built for larger rooms and events where the standard set runs out of headroom. With two 10-inch subwoofers and eight interlocking satellites, it delivers 920 W RMS and a 134 dB peak sound pressure level, while the built-in 4-channel mixer with Bluetooth and 16 digital effect presets means small bands, presenters and DJs can run a complete show from the system itself.

Why Choose LD Systems CURV 500 PS Portable Array System?

Buyers choose this Power Set over the standard CURV 500 because the second subwoofer and doubled satellite count add real bass reserves and coverage for bigger audiences, without giving up the system’s famously fast setup. The satellites are only 12 × 12 cm, so the array stays discreet in venues where a big PA would dominate the room, and the SmartLink adapters let one person assemble the whole system in minutes.

Key Features

This model packs the features buyers ask for first, in a package that is easy to live with every day.

• 920 W RMS power set: Two subwoofers and eight satellites deliver 920 W RMS with 134 dB peak output for larger events and bass-heavy programmes.
• WaveAhead array satellites: Compact 12 × 12 cm satellites with LD Systems WaveAhead technology give detailed, even coverage across the room.
• Built-in 4-channel mixer: Mix microphones and line sources on the subwoofer itself, with 16 digital effect presets and Bluetooth streaming.
• SmartLink plug-and-play: Satellites lock onto SmartLink adapters for fast, tool-free assembly and a clean, cable-managed look.
• DSP protection: A DSP-based multiband limiter plus short-circuit, overheating and over-voltage protection guards the system at full output.

Best Suited For

The LD Systems CURV 500 PS Portable Array System suits bars, clubs, houses of worship, schools, wedding venues and mobile DJs who need a portable system that covers a large room with even, detailed sound. It is equally at home as a fixed install in a hall or as a grab-and-go rig for events, and its Bluetooth input makes it a simple choice for background music between sets.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the two subwoofers on the floor where bass will couple evenly with the room, then fit the SmartLink adapters and stack the satellites to the height your audience needs, using the supplied distance bars for stability. Connect your mixer or source to the subwoofer’s 4-channel mixer, or pair a phone over Bluetooth for music playback, and select one of the four system DSP presets to match the room. Run the supplied speaker and 10 m system cables neatly, set levels with the limiter in mind, and keep the second subwoofer’s output balanced with the first for an even bass response across the floor.
