MX 3433J Professional Microphone Holder

MX 3433J Professional Microphone Holder

The MX 3433J is a clamp-style microphone holder: the clip that grips a handheld microphone and mounts it to a stand. It sounds like the smallest part of a microphone setup, and it is – right up until a loose or cracked holder lets a microphone droop mid-performance or slide to the floor. A sound, spring-tensioned clip with an adjustable tilt angle keeps the microphone exactly where the sound engineer put it.

Key Features

• Clamp-style holder grips standard handheld microphones securely
• Mounts to standard microphone stand threads
• Adjustable tilt sets the microphone angle precisely
• Keeps the microphone in position through a full performance or service
• Frees the performer’s hands for instruments, notes or presentation
• Essential spare for venues, rental kits and house-of-worship setups

The Small Part That Holds the Show Together

Every stand-mounted microphone depends on its holder twice over: the grip must be firm enough that the microphone does not rotate or sink under its own weight and cable pull, yet forgiving enough that the microphone can be pulled free and replaced in one motion when a singer wants it handheld. Tilt adjustment matters just as much – a vocal microphone aimed at the mouth from below, an instrument microphone angled at a speaker cone, and a podium microphone raked toward the speaker all need the holder to set and keep an angle. Venues and rental companies treat holders as consumables for a reason: they are the most-handled, most-dropped part of the stand kit, and a fresh holder restores a wobbly stand to working order for very little money.

Typical Uses

Fit to vocal stands on stage, podium and lectern setups in halls and houses of worship, announcement microphones in schools and venues, and studio stands where a handheld dynamic microphone is mounted for broadcast or podcast work. Confirm your stand’s thread matches the holder’s mount when replacing an existing clip.
