Ahuja NBA-30 WL Microphone

Ahuja NBA-30WL Neckband PA Amplifier Set

The Ahuja NBA-30WL is a portable neckband PA amplifier set: a compact amplifier and speaker unit worn around the neck on the supplied strap, paired with a headband microphone fitted with a UHF wireless transmitter. Your voice reaches the amplifier without a cable between the microphone and the unit, and the amplifier plays it back to the group in front of you. Ahuja positions the set for teaching, tour guides, yoga classes, play schools and small group presentations — situations where one person talks for long stretches, needs both hands free, and has no fixed PA system to plug into.

The amplifier itself produces 10 watts maximum into its 4-ohm speaker, a level intended for a classroom or a small gathered group rather than a hall. A built-in rechargeable battery (3.7 V, 2000 mAh) powers the set, so there is no mains lead to trail across the floor and no separate speaker to carry and position. The complete amplifier unit measures 113 x 84 x 44 mm, small enough to wear for a full session without it getting in the way of writing, demonstrating or handling exhibits.

The Wireless Headband Microphone

The microphone side of the NBA-30WL is a headband design rather than a handheld or lapel type: the band holds the electret condenser capsule at a fixed distance from the mouth, so the level stays consistent as the wearer turns their head, and both hands stay free for a whiteboard, a pointer or teaching aids. Its unidirectional pickup favours the voice directly in front of it over room noise from the sides. Because the link to the amplifier is a UHF wireless transmitter, the wearer can move around the room or walk with a tour group without a trailing lead and without the amplifier having to move with every step being a separate concern — the speaker is already on the body.

TF Card Player and Recorder

Beyond live speech, the amplifier carries a TF card player and recorder for cards up to 64 GB. Prepared material — recorded lessons, announcements, music for a class or a guided session — can be played through the same speaker the voice uses, and sessions can be recorded to the card for reuse. The AUX input channel adds a wired route for an external audio source alongside the microphone channel.

Who the NBA-30WL Suits

Choose this set if you speak to small groups regularly and your voice tires before the session ends: school and coaching teachers, play school staff, yoga and fitness instructors, tour and museum guides, and presenters in small meetings. It is a personal voice-reinforcement tool for one speaker and a modest audience; larger rooms and bigger crowds call for a conventional PA amplifier and loudspeakers instead.
