NEDIS Wireless Microphone System MPWL200BK UHF Handheld with Receiver

NEDIS Wireless Microphone System MPWL200BK (UHF Handheld)

The NEDIS MPWL200BK is a UHF wireless microphone system — a handheld microphone and a plug-in receiver — that frees a presenter, singer or instructor from the microphone cable at an entry price. The receiver connects to a mixer, amplifier or powered speaker with a standard jack input, and the system is designed to be working within minutes: power on, connect, and speak.

Nedis, the Dutch consumer-electronics brand, specifies the system for everyday wireless duty: karaoke, presentations, teaching, fitness instruction, small events and house-of-worship speech. UHF transmission gives the link better resistance to interference and dropouts than basic VHF systems, and the handheld’s integrated design — microphone and transmitter in one body — leaves nothing else to wear or wire.

Where it fits

The jobs are the cable-free classics: a teacher moving around a classroom, an instructor leading a class, a host working a party or a small stage, a speaker who gestures. In each case the microphone follows the person instead of anchoring them to a lectern, and the room hears better for it — people speak more naturally when they are not managing a cable.

Setup and practice

Connect the receiver to a microphone input, set its output level conservatively, and walk the room while speaking to find any dead spots before the event — bodies and metalwork shape UHF coverage, and a receiver position a metre higher often fixes them. Keep spare batteries with the kit, and set the mixer gain so the loudest speaker stays clear of feedback with the microphone in its working position.

Buying notes

This is a single-channel system: one microphone per receiver. Venues that need two wireless voices run two systems on different channels or step up to a multi-channel set. Confirm the channel and connector set on the unit supplied against your mixer’s inputs before the event, not during it.

For simple, affordable wireless freedom from a European consumer brand, the MPWL200BK covers the everyday jobs cleanly.

Ownership notes

Keep fresh batteries with the receiver and a note of the system’s channel in the venue’s kit list, so a second system hired for a bigger event can be checked against it. Store the microphone in a padded pouch rather than loose in a cable crate — handheld transmitters lead rough lives in shared kit. With those small disciplines, the MPWL200BK is ready whenever a voice needs to move. For schools, small venues and home events, that simplicity is the entire value proposition, delivered.
