The balanced combo sockets accept XLR or TRS plugs from an audio interface or mixer at professional +4 dBu level, which is the connection to use for production work. A second line input on RCA and stereo mini takes computers, phones and consumer gear at -10 dBu, so reference tracks and casual listening do not need repatching. A headphone socket on the front mutes the way to private checking, and the supplied speaker cable links the powered left cabinet to the right one.
