OBSBOT TINY 2 AI-Powered PTZ 4K Webcam

OBSBOT TINY 2 AI-Powered PTZ 4K Webcam

The OBSBOT Tiny 2 is an AI-powered pan-tilt-zoom webcam that turns an ordinary desk, studio or meeting room into a professional video setup. A large 1/1.5-inch CMOS sensor captures up to UHD 4K at 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second, while a two-axis gimbal pans and tilts to follow the presenter automatically, adjusting zoom to keep framing natural as they move. Gesture control, voice control, zone tracking and hand tracking mean the camera can be directed without touching a mouse, and dual omnidirectional microphones with noise reduction capture clear voice audio, so the Tiny 2 covers picture, framing and sound in one compact unit that sits on a monitor or tripod.

Markertek’s OBSBOT Tiny 2 listing on markertek.com sets out the same sensor, resolution and tracking specification used here.

Why Choose OBSBOT TINY 2?

The Tiny 2 is chosen because it solves the two problems that make most webcam video look amateur: a small sensor that struggles in ordinary room light, and a fixed frame that leaves the presenter wandering out of shot. The 1/1.5-inch sensor, dual native ISO and PixGain HDR give noticeably cleaner, more natural colour and better low-light performance than a typical laptop webcam, while all-pixel autofocus focuses up to four times faster, even in dim light, with a minimum focus distance of just 10 cm for close-up product or document shots. AI tracking with auto zoom follows the presenter smoothly, zone tracking confines movement to a chosen area for whiteboard or demo work, and hand tracking lets a gesture select or lock a target. Four-times digital zoom, a wide 85.5-degree diagonal field of view, USB 3.0 transmission at ten times the speed of USB 2.0, and a sleep mode that protects privacy when the camera is not in use round out a camera that behaves more like a small PTZ studio camera than a webcam.

Key Features

• UHD 4K video: up to 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps from a large 1/1.5-inch 50 MP CMOS sensor.
• AI tracking with auto zoom: follows the presenter and adjusts zoom automatically to hold natural framing.
• Gesture, voice and zone control: direct the camera hands-free, including hand tracking and zone tracking.
• Two-axis PTZ gimbal: pans to 150 degrees and tilts to 45 degrees mechanically, at up to 120 degrees per second.
• Dual native ISO and PixGain HDR: cleaner low-light video and higher dynamic range without motion blur.
• Dual microphones: built-in omnidirectional microphones with noise reduction for clear voice capture.

Best Suited For

The Tiny 2 suits remote workers, teachers, trainers, presenters, streamers, podcasters and small meeting rooms that need professional-looking video without a camera operator. It is ideal for solo presenters who move while talking, for product demonstrators and educators who work across a desk or whiteboard, and for content creators who want 4K talking-head video with automatic framing. It connects over USB-C as a standard webcam for Zoom, Teams, Meet, Skype, YouTube and similar platforms, and its free OBSBOT WebCam software unlocks advanced settings, gimbal control and preset positions. Users who need optical zoom, interchangeable lenses or multi-camera switching should look at dedicated PTZ or mirrorless camera systems instead, since the Tiny 2 uses digital zoom.

Setup and Connection Guide

Mount the Tiny 2 on a monitor with its built-in mount or on a tripod, and connect it to the computer with the supplied USB-C 3.0 cable, using the USB-C to USB-A adapter if the computer has only USB-A ports. The camera is plug-and-play and appears as a webcam in conferencing and streaming software; select it as the video and microphone source in the application settings. Install the free OBSBOT WebCam software to access advanced controls, including gimbal pan, tilt and zoom, tracking target selection and lock, preset positions, beauty mode and image adjustments. For best results, face a light source rather than sitting with a bright window behind you, keep the camera at eye level, and use the desk mode and zone tracking features for overhead or whiteboard-style shots. When finished, use the sleep mode so the camera points down and stops capturing. A computer meeting the published recommended configuration, including a 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor or later and 8 GB of RAM, gives the smoothest 4K performance.
