Why Choose the Godox SL150W II Daylight LED Video Light?
The Godox SL150W II Daylight LED Video Light steps up from the 100 W SL series with more punch for larger softboxes and longer throws, while keeping the same simple dial control, silent cooling and Bowens modifier system. The extra headroom also means it holds its output when a large softbox or diffusion eats a stop or more of light, which is where smaller lights start to struggle.
Key Features of the Godox SL150W II Daylight LED Video Light
150 W daylight output: 150 W of COB LED power at daylight balance, dimmable for exact exposure control.
Bowens mount: The Bowens S-type mount accepts Godox softboxes, lanterns and beauty dishes.
U-bracket mount: The yoke bracket tilts the light precisely and locks it on a standard stand.
Silent cooling: Fan cooling keeps the light at full output without adding noise to recordings.
Standard reflector included: The included reflector shapes a punchy beam for interviews and product work.
Mains powered: AC mains power suits long studio sessions without battery changes.
Best Suited For
The Godox SL150W II Daylight LED Video Light suits studios, interview setups and product photographers who need more output than a 100 W light. For interviews, it provides a strong key that survives diffusion, and for product work it gives enough punch to light larger subjects evenly.
Setup and Connection Guide
Mount the light on a stand with the U-bracket, fit the reflector or a Bowens modifier, and connect mains power. Set brightness from the fixture controls, position it as a key light, and add a softbox for flattering portraits or a grid for controlled product lighting. If the set needs colour control, pair it with gels on the modifier or add a second bi-colour light for fill, since the SL150W II itself is daylight-balanced. It is mains-powered, so plan a power outlet near the set.
Frequently Asked Questions
