LG CineBeam HU715Q 4K UHD Laser UST Projector

LG CineBeam HU715Q 4K UHD Laser UST Projector

The LG CineBeam HU715Q is a 4K UHD laser ultra short throw projector that creates a cinema-sized image from a spot just in front of your wall. It projects an 80-inch screen from 11.8 cm, a 100-inch screen from 21.7 cm, and a 120-inch screen from 31.7 cm away – so it sits on a TV unit where a television would go, with no ceiling mount and no long throw across the room.

The image is real 4K UHD: 8.3 megapixels of precise detail across the full 120-inch diagonal. A 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio expresses deep darkness alongside brightness, and 85% DCI-P3 colour gamut keeps colours accurate indoors. The laser source delivers 2,500 ANSI lumens with a 20,000-hour life – no lamp replacements.

What Ultra Short Throw Laser Projection Does for a Living Room

A conventional projector needs distance, a dark room and a ceiling mount. An ultra short throw projector flips that geometry: the lens sits centimetres from the wall and fires the image upward at a steep angle. Because the HU715Q uses a laser rather than a lamp, it reaches full brightness instantly and lasts up to 20,000 hours with no bulb to replace – television-style convenience with a 100-inch image.

Ambient Light and HDR Performance

The HU715Q is built for rooms you actually live in. Brightness Optimizer II’s ambient sensor reads the room’s lighting and auto-selects the right brightness mode, while Adaptive Contrast tunes laser output scene by scene. On the HDR side it covers HDR10, HLG and HGiG with dynamic tone mapping that evaluates each frame – what PlayStation and Xbox gamers need for HDR titles to look right.

Where the HU715Q Fits

• Living-room cinema upgrades – replaces the TV with a 100-120 inch image from the TV unit
• Streaming-first homes – webOS 6.0, major apps and AirPlay with no extra boxes
• Gaming rooms – HGiG support and HDMI inputs for PlayStation and Xbox with a giant HDR image
• Design-conscious spaces – Kvadrat textile finish and no ceiling hardware
