The Photon Beam PK52 is Optoma’s compact 4K UHD laser projector for everyday home entertainment: a DuraCore laser light source rated for up to 30,000 hours, 3,500 lumens of brightness and images from 28 inches all the way to 300 inches. With a built-in 15 W speaker system, automatic keystone correction and PureEngine picture processing, it is designed to be set down in a living room and be showing a film within minutes – no lamp changes, no elaborate installation.

Laser changes the ownership experience

A laser light source reaches full brightness almost instantly, holds its colour and brightness over years rather than dimming like a lamp, and never needs a replacement bulb. Thirty thousand hours is over twenty years of typical film-night use. The sealed DuraCore engine is also IP6X dust resistant, which matters in real homes: dust cannot creep into the optical path and print spots on the image.

Picture quality for film and sport

PureEngine processing works on detail, contrast and motion together – PureMotion (MEMC) smooths fast action in sport and action films, while Filmmaker Mode shows movies at their original frame rate, colour and aspect ratio as the director intended.
