Xgimi Mogo 4 Laser – Full Hd Google Tv Smart Triple Laser Portable Projector With Built-in Battery

XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser – Triple Laser Portable Projector with Google TV

The XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser is a portable projector that puts a triple laser light source, normally found in much larger home cinema models, into a body barely bigger than a travel mug. It projects a native Full HD picture of 40 to 200 inches, runs Google TV with licensed Netflix, plays sound through its own Harman Kardon speakers and works away from a power socket on a built-in battery. It weighs 1.32 kg, so the big screen moves with you from bedroom to terrace to campsite.

The DLP engine pairs a 0.23-inch DMD with separate red, green and blue lasers to deliver 550 ISO lumens and colour covering 110 percent of the BT.2020 gamut, with HDR10 support and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. That laser colour is the point of this model: animated films, sport and nature documentaries keep the saturated, accurate colour that single-laser and LED portables usually flatten.

Set it down, it sets itself up

The integrated stand rotates through 360 degrees, so the MoGo 4 Laser can sit on a table and project onto a wall, tilt up to a ceiling above a bed, or aim at a screen outdoors. Uninterrupted auto focus and auto keystone keep working while the projector is being moved, squaring and sharpening the image without menus or manual tweaking. With a 1.2:1 throw ratio, picture size is simply a matter of distance, and a set of four magnetic creative filters is included for ambient light effects when the projector is used as a mood light or speaker.

Streaming, sound and connections

Google TV organises films and shows from your services in one interface, with more apps available from the store, and Google Cast plus DLNA make it easy to send content from a phone. The two 6 W Harman Kardon speakers support Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus, and the projector doubles as a Bluetooth speaker in music mode. Around the back there is an HDMI input with ARC for consoles and players, a USB port, and USB-C charging that supports the PD3.0 protocol, so a suitable power bank can extend a screening away from mains power. Game mode latency is rated at 20 ms or less at 1080p and 60 Hz with auto keystone off, respectable for casual big-screen gaming.

Who it suits

Choose the MoGo 4 Laser if you want a genuine cinema picture without a fixed installation: renters, students, frequent travellers, families planning outdoor movie nights and anyone who prefers a screen that packs away. Like every 550-lumen projector it performs best in a dimmed room or after dark; in those conditions the triple laser colour, battery freedom and self-aligning setup make it the most capable projector in its size class.
