JBL Go 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Blue

JBL Go 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Blue

The JBL Go 3 is the speaker you actually take with you. At 8.6 x 6.9 x 4.0 cm and 209 grams, it slips into a jacket pocket, a cycle bottle cage or the corner of a daypack, yet it plays with the punchy, full-bodied character JBL calls JBL Pro Sound. This is the blue finish, wrapped in the Go 3’s fabric-and-rubber exterior with an integrated carry loop. It is fully waterproof and dustproof to IP67, streams over Bluetooth 5.1, and runs for up to 5 hours per charge, which makes it a natural companion for showers, pool decks, desks, picnics and travel.

Big character, tiny footprint

Small speakers usually sound small: thin, quiet and quick to distort. The Go 3 avoids that trap with a driver and tuning combination that prioritises midrange presence and a surprising sense of bass weight for the size, so voices, acoustic instruments and pop mixes sound complete rather than like a phone speaker turned up. The 110 Hz to 20 kHz response tells the honest story: it will not reproduce sub-bass, but everything above that arrives with energy and clarity that fills a room, a tent or a small outdoor circle comfortably. For podcasts and calls the vocal focus is a genuine strength.

Made to get wet and dusty

The IP67 rating means the Go 3 shrugs off full immersion in up to a metre of water for 30 minutes and seals dust out completely. That changes how you use it: hang it in the shower, stand it by the pool, take it to the beach without a protective case, and rinse the sand off afterwards. The fabric wrap and rubberised edges tolerate knocks and scrapes that would mark a glossy speaker, and the carry loop clips to a bag or hangs from a hook so the speaker is always within reach rather than packed away.

Simple streaming and sensible battery

Pairing over Bluetooth 5.1 is quick and the connection holds steadily across a room. Five hours of playtime covers a workout, an afternoon outdoors or a working day at moderate volume, and the USB Type-C port, shared with most current phones, recharges the speaker in about 2.5 hours. Controls are deliberately minimal, because a speaker this size is meant to be started and forgotten about while it plays.

Who it suits

Pick the Go 3 in blue if you want one genuinely portable speaker for personal listening everywhere, rather than a larger party speaker. It is ideal for travel, students, shower and kitchen listening, desks and outdoor days where pack size matters more than maximum volume.
