Description
JBL ASB6115 15-Inch High-Power Subwoofer
The JBL ASB6115 15-Inch High-Power Subwoofer is a high-power, lightweight front-loaded vented subwoofer enclosure from JBL’s AE Series, housing a 15-inch Differential Drive woofer for installed low-frequency reinforcement.
At a glance, the JBL ASB6115 15-Inch High-Power Subwoofer stands out for 15-inch differential drive woofer (a 15-inch dual voice coil, dual gap driver with a neodymium magnet); 800 w continuous power (800 watts continuous handling, 3200 watts peak); vented front-loaded design (a large vent area for high output with low distortion); ae series matching (phase-matched to AE Series full-range models); install-ready enclosure (built for ground-stacked or suspended installation use). Those points, taken together with the specification table below, are what separate this model from cheaper or differently sized alternatives in the same range.
Why Choose JBL ASB6115 15-Inch High-Power Subwoofer?
The JBL ASB6115 15-Inch High-Power Subwoofer gives an installed system real low end without a large footprint. The Differential Drive woofer handles high power with long life, and the vented design keeps distortion low at high output.
In practice, buyers choose this model for the combination above rather than for any single figure: the headline features work together, so the product sounds right in its intended setting instead of excelling in one area and falling short in another.

Setup and Connection Guide
Place the subwoofer ground-stacked or suspend it as part of an AE Series array, connect it to a suitable amplifier, and set the crossover to match the full-range models it supports.
Before first use, confirm that the amplifier or source matches the connections and ratings in the specification table, start with levels low, and raise them gradually while listening from the normal seating or working position. That simple check avoids clipping, protects the drivers, and gives a fair first impression of what this product can do.
Also check the room and power side before ordering: measure the space the product will occupy, confirm the amplifier, television or source has a matching output, and allow ventilation and cable access around the unit so installation is straightforward on delivery day.
