The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is a compact 5-inch spherical loudspeaker with a single full-range driver for clear, wide-dispersion sound in small rooms and home cinemas.
5-inch all-metal spherical enclosure
3-inch full-range driver
Frequency response 80 Hz to 20 kHz (on wall or ceiling)
50 W full range, 100 W with crossover power handling
The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is a compact spherical loudspeaker from Gallo Acoustics, built around a single full-range driver in a rigid all-metal sphere. The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is designed for rooms where a conventional box speaker would dominate the space, yet the sound still has to be coherent, detailed and easy to place. Because the enclosure is a sphere, internal resonance and edge diffraction are kept to a minimum, so the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker keeps its tonal balance whether it sits on a shelf, a stand or a wall mount.
Buyers choose the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker when they want a small speaker that does not look or sound small. The single-driver design means there is no conventional crossover to colour the midrange, and the wide-dispersion driver spreads sound evenly across the listening area rather than beaming it at one seat. The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is also unusually flexible: the same sphere can move from a stereo pair to a centre channel or a surround channel as a system grows, and its metal construction suits both homes and commercial installs.
Key Features
Spherical all-metal enclosure: 5-inch sphere that minimises resonance and diffraction for a cleaner, more open sound
Single full-range driver: 3-inch full-range driver, with no conventional crossover in the signal path
Wide, even coverage: Broad dispersion keeps detail consistent across a wider listening area than a typical small box speaker
Flexible placement: Suitable for shelf, table, wall-mount, floor-stand or in-ceiling installation with the matching Gallo accessories
Easy system matching: Can be mixed with other Gallo spheres and a Gallo subwoofer in a home-cinema package
Best Suited For
The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is best suited for living rooms, bedrooms, home cinemas, offices, restaurants and multi-room systems where discreet size matters. It works as a stereo pair for music, as front and surround channels in a surround system, and as a compact centre speaker. Pair it with a subwoofer, such as a Gallo TR-3D or ProfileSub, when deep bass for films is wanted.
Setup and Connection Guide
Connect the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker to any amplifier or AV receiver with standard speaker cable, observing correct polarity, and set the receiver’s speaker size to Small with a crossover around 100-120 Hz when a subwoofer is in use. Place the sphere at roughly ear height for stereo listening, keep it clear of corners if bass sounds heavy, and use the matching Gallo wall, ceiling or floor-stand accessory for a secure installation. Allow the speaker to settle at moderate volume before critical listening.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker need a subwoofer?
No, the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker works on its own for music and television, but adding a subwoofer extends the low end for films and larger rooms.
Can I use the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker as a centre speaker?
Yes. The single-driver spherical design keeps dialogue clear and consistent, so one Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker makes a capable centre channel in a Gallo surround system.
What amplifier power does the Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker need?
The Gallo Acoustics Adiva Droplet Luxe Gold Speaker is rated at 50 W full range, 100 W with crossover; a modest quality amplifier or AV receiver is sufficient, and it should not be driven into audible distortion.
