Samsung LS60D Blk Music Frame

Samsung LS60D Blk Music Frame – 2.0-Channel Wireless Speaker in a Picture Frame

The Samsung Music Frame HW-LS60D is a wireless speaker designed to look like a picture frame. The front panel holds your own photo or artwork, so the unit hangs on a wall or stands on a shelf as part of the room’s decor while it plays music. Behind the panel sits a 2.0-channel system of six speakers in a 3-way arrangement, tuned at the Samsung Audio Lab to spread sound widely and evenly rather than beaming it from one spot. This listing is for the black finish.

It streams over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, supports wireless Dolby Atmos from a compatible Samsung TV, and can join the TV’s own speakers through Q-Symphony instead of replacing them.

Key features

• Picture-frame design with a customisable photo panel, photo mat and art panel holders included
• 2.0-channel output from six speakers in a 3-way layout for wide, even sound dispersion
• Wireless Dolby Atmos support, plus Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby 5.1 channel decoding
• Q-Symphony plays the Music Frame together with a Samsung TV’s speakers for a larger soundstage
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 streaming, with an optical input for a wired TV connection
• AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect and Roon Tested streaming support
• SpaceFit Sound analyses the room and calibrates output to the space
• Active Voice Amplifier, Voice Enhance Mode and Night Mode for clearer dialogue at any hour
• Wall mount kit and stand included, so it can hang like a frame or sit on furniture

Design and placement

The frame measures 353 x 364.8 mm across the front and weighs 4.6 kg. Swapping the artwork is the point of the design: the panel lifts off, your print or photo goes behind the mat, and the speaker returns to being wall decor. The included wall mount hardware covers hanging, and the stand covers tabletop use. Because there is no HDMI socket, placement is not tied to a TV cabinet; one optical cable or a fully wireless link is all it needs.

Sound performance

Six drivers in a 3-way layout let the LS60D separate low, mid and high content instead of asking one driver to cover everything, which keeps voices intelligible over background music. SpaceFit Sound reads the room and adjusts, and the Adaptive sound mode analyses content in real time. Dolby Atmos material is rendered in 2.0, widening the image beyond the frame’s physical width. As a 2.0 system without a separate subwoofer, it is voiced for music, TV dialogue and casual viewing rather than cinema-scale bass.

Connectivity and TV pairing

Most listening arrives over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth from a phone, with Tap Sound pairing on compatible Samsung phones. The optical input connects any TV directly. With a Q-Symphony Samsung TV, the frame and the TV speakers play together over Wi-Fi, and Wireless Dolby Atmos removes the cable entirely. Two Music Frames can also be set as a stereo pair through SmartThings for a dedicated music corner.

Where it fits

Living rooms that reject visible speakers, bedrooms, dining spaces and design-led offices suit the Music Frame best. It is a considered choice for Samsung TV owners who want better TV sound and a proper music speaker in one object that reads as art on the wall.
