NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN

The NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN is a belt-drive record player with a built-in speaker, designed for listening to a vinyl collection with no separate amplifier or speakers required. It plays 33, 45 and 78 rpm records, so singles, albums and older shellac-era discs are all covered, and its wood-finish cabinet with a dust cover looks at home in a living room rather than a studio. The built-in speaker, rated 3 watts RMS and 9 watts peak, plays records straight out of the box, while a stereo RCA output connects to a home stereo or powered speakers when a bigger sound is wanted. Bluetooth lets the same unit stream music from a phone, a 3.5 mm input takes other sources, and a rechargeable battery gives up to four hours of playback away from a mains socket.

Why Choose NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN?

The NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN earns its place as a first or second turntable because it removes every barrier between a record and the music. There is no amplifier to choose, no speaker cable to run and no phono stage to buy separately: the built-in pre-amplifier and speaker are already in the cabinet, and the manual belt-drive deck keeps the mechanism simple and easy to live with. The battery is the detail that changes where records get played: the turntable can move to a balcony, a friend’s house or a different room without trailing a mains cable, and the Bluetooth mode means the same speaker serves phone playlists when no record is on the platter. For collectors, the three speeds matter: many affordable turntables omit 78 rpm, which strands older records, while the TURN200BN plays them alongside standard LPs and singles.

Best Suited For

The NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN suits first-time vinyl listeners, gift buyers, and collectors who want a simple second deck for casual listening. It suits living rooms, bedrooms and small spaces where a full hi-fi stack would dominate the room, and it suits anyone with a mixed collection spanning LPs, singles and 78s. It is not an audiophile deck for a high-end cartridge and amplifier chain: its strength is convenience and completeness, and listeners building a serious hi-fi system should budget for a separate turntable, phono stage and speakers instead.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the NEDIS TURNTABLE TURN200BN on a level, stable surface, remove the stylus guard, and set the speed selector to 33, 45 or 78 rpm to match the record. Place the record on the platter, lift the tonearm, and lower the stylus gently onto the lead-in groove; use the volume knob to set a comfortable level from the built-in speaker. For external sound, connect the stereo RCA output to a spare input on a stereo or powered speakers. For Bluetooth, switch the unit to Bluetooth mode and pair a phone by selecting TURN200BN; for wired sources, use the 3.5 mm auxiliary input. Charge the battery fully before first portable use, keep the dust cover closed when the deck is idle, and replace the stylus with the specified 6174DS replacement needle when playback sounds dull or distorted.
