The Sharge IceMag is a 10,000 mAh magnetic wireless power bank with a feature no ordinary magnetic pack offers: active cooling. It is the original IceMag, the model Sharge introduced as the world’s first magnetic power bank with an active cooling system, and its specification is its own: 7.5 W maximum wireless charging, 20 W maximum charging over its USB-C port, an 8,000 RPM cooling fan and a transparent housing with full-spectrum dynamic RGB lighting around the fan. Later IceMag generations carry different ratings, and their figures do not apply to this model.

Wireless charging wastes energy as heat, and heat is what makes phones throttle their charging speed part-way through a top-up. The IceMag’s answer is to move air: a built-in fan with an airflow design draws heat away from the charging area while the pack is snapped to the phone, keeping temperatures down so charging stays consistent through a long session instead of slowing as the phone warms up.

Magnetic charging, kept cool

The IceMag aligns magnetically with MagSafe-compatible iPhones and with phones or cases that provide the same magnetic ring, so the charging coils line up correctly every time instead of relying on careful placement. Once attached it stays with the phone while you keep using it: messaging, photos and calls continue with the pack riding on the back. The cooling fan starts with charging and runs through the session; Sharge rates it at under 25 dB, quiet enough for a desk or bedside. The transparent shell and the RGB ring around the fan make the cooling system part of the design rather than hiding it, in keeping with the Shargeek line’s exposed-circuitry styling.

Wired charging when speed matters

Wireless is the convenient option; the USB-C port is the fast one. At up to 20 W it charges a compatible phone noticeably faster than the wireless pad, and it also covers devices without magnetic charging at all, using a cable. The same port recharges the IceMag itself at up to 20 W. Pass-through charging lets the pack charge a phone while the pack is itself plugged in, useful overnight at a hotel desk. A low-current mode handles small accessories such as earbuds cases that draw too little power for a standard power bank to stay awake for.

Capacity in daily terms

At 10,000 mAh the IceMag holds roughly two full charges for a typical smartphone, allowing for the conversion losses that all power banks, and wireless charging in particular, involve. That is a full day of heavy use, a weekend of moderate use, or a long travel day of navigation, photos and hotspot checks without looking for a wall socket. The capacity is within the limits airlines apply to power banks in cabin baggage, and Sharge lists the IceMag as airline-safe; like every power bank it travels in hand baggage, not checked luggage.

Compatibility and use

Magnetic attachment needs a MagSafe-compatible phone or a magnetic case; a phone without the magnetic ring can still charge wirelessly if it supports Qi charging, but it will not snap into alignment, and a standard USB-C cable charges anything with a compatible port. Thick or metal cases can weaken both the magnetic hold and the wireless connection, so a magnetic case is the reliable pairing. Keep the fan’s airflow area uncovered while charging so the cooling system can do its work.

The box contains the IceMag power bank. A USB-C charging cable for wired use and recharging is a separate item unless supplied with your phone; check the pack’s battery indicator before a trip and recharge it over USB-C so it is ready when the phone is not.
