The Sonos Arc Wall Mount, in black, is the dedicated wall mount kit for the Sonos Arc soundbar. It fixes the Arc flat to the wall beneath a wall-mounted television, so the soundbar sits in line with the screen instead of on furniture in front of it. The mount is deliberately near-invisible: a slim bracket that keeps the Arc as close to the wall as possible, leaving the clean outline of the bar itself as the only thing you see. For rooms built around a wall-hung TV, it is the finishing piece that makes the soundbar installation look intentional rather than improvised.

Designed around the Arc

The mount is made to the Arc’s dimensions and fixing points, and the soundbar is designed to work with it: a magnetic sensor in the Arc detects when it is mounted and automatically adjusts the EQ to temper the bass resonance that a wall behind a soundbar can add. That detection is part of the Sonos design, and it only works because the mount places the bar at the intended distance from the wall. The bracket itself measures 32 5/16 inches wide and weighs 1.43 lbs, spanning the Arc’s mounting points while staying hidden behind the bar’s 45-inch width once fitted.

Positioning for sound

Sonos’s guidance is to keep a minimum of 4 inches (102 mm) between the Arc and the television above it, so the upward-firing Atmos drivers have a clear path to the ceiling, and to keep both ends of the soundbar at least 1 foot (30 cm) from a wall or other obstruction, so the side-firing drivers can do their work. The touch controls must face upward once the bar is seated. Follow those clearances and the wall-mounted Arc performs as designed, with height effects reflecting off the ceiling and a wide soundstage that is not boxed in by furniture or corners.

Installation

The kit contains the wall mount bracket, a positioning guide (which Sonos warns can look like packing material, and should not be discarded), two knobs that screw into the back of the soundbar, six wall anchors and six screws. The knobs drop into the bracket’s slots, so the bar seats onto the fixed bracket rather than being screwed in place overhead. Fixing method depends on the wall: a wood stud needs two screws into 1/8 inch (3 mm) pilot holes with no anchors; drywall without a stud, concrete and brick use the supplied anchors and screws in 5/16 inch (8 mm) holes; plaster uses toggle bolts, which are not included. Connect the power and HDMI cables before seating the bar, since the connections sit behind it.

Finish and fit

The black finish matches the black Sonos Arc, and because the bracket hides entirely behind the soundbar, the installed result is a single clean line of screen and soundbar with no visible hardware and no cables trailing across furniture. The mount is for the Arc; it is sold as a kit for that soundbar’s specific dimensions and sensor-based EQ behaviour.

If the television is on the wall, the Arc belongs on the wall under it. This mount kit does that job the way Sonos designed it: close, level, near-invisible, and with the soundbar’s own mount detection working as intended.
