Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp

Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp

The Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp is the genuine Epson replacement lamp module for the EH-TW6700 and its sibling home cinema projectors, and the Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp restores full brightness when the original lamp dims or reaches the end of its life. It is a complete lamp in its housing, not a bare bulb, so it drops into the projector’s lamp compartment with no rewiring and no handling of a fragile bare lamp. The 250-watt ultra high efficiency (UHE) lamp is rated for 3,500 hours in standard mode and 5,000 hours in eco mode, which is years of evening film watching from one replacement.

Why Choose Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp?

A dim projector is usually a tired lamp, not a failing projector, and the Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp is the correct fix when brightness, colour punch or contrast have faded on a compatible model. Because it ships as a housed module, alignment and cooling match the projector’s design, which protects both the lamp life and the projector’s optics, and because it is the Epson-specified part for the EH-TW6700 family, there is no guesswork about fit, wattage or connector. Replacing the lamp costs far less than replacing the projector, and it returns the picture the projector was bought for.

Key Features

• Genuine housed module: Complete lamp in its housing for a direct drop-in replacement, with no bare-bulb handling.
• 250-watt UHE lamp: Ultra high efficiency lamp for bright, stable output at lower heat than a halogen equivalent.
• Long rated life: 3,500 hours standard mode and 5,000 hours eco mode before replacement is due.
• EH-TW6700 family fit: Specified for the EH-TW6700, EH-TW6700W, EH-TW6600W, EH-TW6800, EH-TW7000 and EH-TW7100.
• User-replaceable: Designed for owner replacement following the projector manual, with no tools beyond the lamp cover screws.
• Consistent colour: The correct wattage and optics keep white balance and brightness where the projector’s calibration expects them.

Best Suited For

The Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp suits owners of a compatible Epson home cinema projector whose picture has dimmed, flickers, or shows a lamp-replacement warning. It is a lamp module only: it does not fit projectors outside the listed family, and it will not fix a projector with a failed power supply, colour wheel or panel problem, which need service rather than a lamp.

Setup and Connection Guide

Switch the projector off, unplug it, and let it cool completely before opening the lamp cover, since the lamp runs hot and the compartment stays warm after use. Remove the old module by its handle, taking care not to touch the new lamp glass, seat the Epson ELPLP85 Projector Lamp fully in the compartment, refit the cover, and reset the lamp timer through the projector menu so the next replacement interval is tracked correctly.
