The Ahuja SSA-350 is a high-wattage PA mixer amplifier that combines microphone preamplifiers, a mixer section and a power amplifier in one rugged unit. Output regulation is held to 2 dB from no load to full load at 1 kHz, so the level across a large speaker network stays consistent as zones are switched.

Performance in a PA system

With seven mic inputs, the SSA-350 handles a lectern, a reception desk and roving announcement points at once, while the aux inputs carry background music balanced under speech. The 70V and 100V outputs are the working choice for long cable runs with many ceiling or wall speakers; the 4-ohm and 8-ohm outputs serve smaller direct-wired groups. Signal-to-noise is rated above 60 dB, appropriate for speech-led installed systems.

Connections and expansion

The preamplifier and line outputs make expansion straightforward: feed a booster amplifier for a second area, or take the line output to a recorder to log announcements. The line input reverses the arrangement, letting an external mixer drive the SSA-350 purely as a power stage.
