Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earbuds (Cream)

Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earbuds (Cream)

The Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open is a true wireless earbud with an open-ear design: instead of sealing inside the ear canal, each earbud sits just outside it, so you hear your music and your surroundings at the same time. This cream version uses a custom-engineered 11 mm dynamic transducer, Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint connection, dual beamforming microphones for calls and intuitive touch controls on the stems. At 4.35 g per earbud, with an IPX4 splash-resistant build and up to 28 hours of total listening time with the charging case, it is designed for people who wear earbuds through much of the day and do not want to be cut off from the room, the street or the conversation around them.

Listening without sealing the world out

Conventional in-ear earbuds isolate by plugging the ear canal, which is valuable on a flight but a liability on a run, a cycle ride, a commute or in an office where colleagues need your attention. The ACCENTUM Open takes the other approach. Because nothing enters or seals the ear canal, there is no plugged, pressurised feeling and less listening fatigue over long wear, and everyday sounds such as traffic, announcements and conversation remain naturally audible alongside your audio. The 11 mm dynamic transducer is positioned to deliver sound into the ear from outside the canal, with a frequency range of 25 Hz to 15 kHz and a sensitivity of 109 dB SPL, tuned for a balanced presentation rather than exaggerated bass.

Calls, controls and connections

Each earbud carries dual MEMS microphones with beamforming noise reduction, which focus on your voice and reduce background noise around it, so calls stay intelligible in a street, station or open-plan office. Touch controls on the stems manage playback, calls and volume without reaching for your phone. Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint support keeps two devices connected at once, for example a laptop for work calls and a phone for music, and switches between them as needed. The supported codecs are SBC and AAC, covering phones, tablets and computers across platforms.

Battery for a full day and beyond

The earbuds provide up to 6.5 hours of playback on a charge, and the pocket-sized charging case extends total listening time to up to 28 hours. A 10-minute fast charge adds up to 1.5 hours of playback, useful before a commute or a workout. Each earbud holds a battery of approximately 36 mAh and the case approximately 400 mAh, and charging is via USB-C. The earbuds weigh 4.35 g each and the case 29.3 g, so the complete set is easy to carry in a pocket or small bag.

Built for everyday movement

The earbuds carry an IPX4 rating against splashes, covering sweat during exercise and light rain. The open fit and low weight suit walking, running, cycling where awareness matters, desk work and travel where hearing announcements matters. In cream, the finish is soft and understated. For listeners who have found sealed earbuds isolating or uncomfortable, the ACCENTUM Open offers Sennheiser sound in a form that leaves the world switched on.
