BenQ PD2705Q 27-Inch QHD USB-C Designer Monitor

BenQ PD2705Q 27-Inch QHD USB-C Monitor

The BenQ PD2705Q is a 27-inch designer monitor built around colour accuracy rather than gaming speed. Its IPS panel delivers 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution with 100 percent sRGB and 100 percent Rec.709 coverage, factory calibration, Calman Verified and Pantone Validated status, and Delta E of 3 or less. A single USB-C cable connects a laptop with video, data and 65 W power delivery, while the built-in KVM switch, DisplayPort daisy-chaining and a fully adjustable stand make it a practical centrepiece for a two-computer creative desk.

Colour you can hand to a client

BenQ’s AQCOLOR approach means each PD2705Q is individually factory calibrated and ships with its calibration report in the box. Coverage of the full sRGB and Rec.709 spaces with an average Delta E of 3 or less means the red you approve on screen is the red that prints or publishes. M-Book mode matches the colour of a Mac display, ICCsync aligns ICC profiles between computer and monitor automatically, and DualView shows two colour modes side by side on the same screen, so you can compare an sRGB export view against a CAD/CAM working view without a second display. Animation mode lifts shadow detail, Darkroom mode suits dim editing suites, and CAD/CAM mode increases line contrast for technical drawings.

One-cable desk with KVM and daisy chain

The USB-C port carries the picture, USB data and up to 65 W of charging power, so a laptop docks with one cable. Four USB 3.1 downstream ports on the monitor connect your drives, tablet and peripherals, and the KVM switch pairs those peripherals with whichever input is active, letting a desktop and a laptop share the screen and desk accessories. The DisplayPort 1.4 output supports MST daisy-chaining to a second monitor, alongside HDMI 2.0 and a full-size DisplayPort input. Dual 2 W speakers and a headphone jack cover calls and quick audio checks.

Comfort for long editing days

The panel runs at 60 Hz with a 5 ms grey-to-grey response, 1000:1 native contrast and 178-degree viewing angles, behind a matte anti-glare coating. Flicker-free technology and Low Blue Light modes, certified by TUV Rheinland, reduce eye strain across long sessions, and Brightness Intelligence adjusts to your room lighting. The stand adjusts 140 mm in height, tilts, swivels 45 degrees each way and pivots 90 degrees for portrait documents, with a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount behind it.

For photographers, designers and video editors who work in sRGB and Rec.709 and want a calibrated screen that also simplifies the desk, the PD2705Q covers the colour brief and the connectivity brief in one 27-inch panel.
