Hawk HP01 Monitor Headphone

Hawk HP01 Monitor Headphone

The Hawk HP01 is a monitor headphone tuned for work rather than show. Consumer headphones flatter music with boosted bass and sparkle; a monitor headphone does the opposite, presenting the sound honestly so that what you hear while recording and editing is what your audience will hear. The HP01 follows that brief: a balanced presentation for tracking, editing and checking mixes, in a closed-back body made for long sessions.

Key Features

• Balanced monitor tuning – no exaggerated bass or treble
• Closed-back design keeps your audio in and the room out
• Comfortable padded fit for full recording and editing days
• Wired connection – no charging, no latency, works with any headphone output
• Suits recording, editing, mix checking, podcasting and voice work

Why Closed-Back Matters for Recording

When you record vocals or voice-over, the microphone hears everything in the room – including the backing track leaking out of open headphones. That bleed gets printed into the take and cannot be removed afterwards. A closed-back headphone seals the playback in, so the singer hears the track while the microphone hears only the voice. The same seal works in reverse at an editing desk, keeping office and household noise from masking detail in your mix.

Who It Suits

The HP01 suits home-studio musicians recording their own vocals and instruments, podcasters and streamers who monitor while they speak, and editors who need an honest second opinion next to their speakers without spending studio-flagship money. One headphone covers tracking, editing and casual listening checks across the whole production chain.

Monitoring While You Perform

Singers and voice artists judge their performance by what comes back into the headphones, and a monitoring headphone earns its place in those first minutes. The HP01’s honest balance means pitch and timing problems are audible immediately, not discovered after the session: sibilance sounds like sibilance, room echo sounds like room echo, and a take that is genuinely good sounds good for the right reasons. For podcasters recording two voices in one room, a pair of closed-back headphones each keeps both speakers aware of levels and mic technique without either track leaking into the other’s microphone.

Care and Everyday Handling

A wired monitor headphone asks for almost nothing: no batteries to charge before a session, no pairing to fail mid-take, and a cable connection that works with interfaces, mixers, controllers and computers alike. Wipe the pads down after long sessions, store the headphone off the desk edge rather than on it, and it will keep its fit and seal through years of daily studio use.
