Artis BT808 Bluetooth Party Speaker

Artis BT808 Bluetooth Party Speaker

The Artis BT808 is a large-format Bluetooth party speaker built for gatherings that have outgrown a portable desktop unit: house parties, society events, school functions, karaoke evenings and outdoor celebrations. It delivers 80 W RMS of output from a stereo driver layout of two 6.5-inch woofers and two 2.5-inch tweeters, carries a rechargeable 7200 mAh battery so it can play away from a mains socket, and arrives ready for karaoke with two UHF wireless microphones in the box. Bluetooth 5.0 streaming is only one of its sources: FM radio, USB playback, TF card and an aux input mean the music keeps playing whatever device your guests bring.

Sound for a crowd

Party speakers live or die on coverage and bass weight, and the BT808’s driver complement is chosen for both. Twin 6.5-inch low-frequency drivers move enough air to give dance and Bollywood tracks real body in a hall or on a terrace, while the pair of 2.5-inch tweeters keeps vocals and announcements intelligible at the back of the space. The specified frequency response runs from 42 Hz to 20 kHz, so low bass lines register properly rather than being hinted at. At roughly 59.5 cm tall and 8.6 kg, the cabinet is substantial enough to support that output yet still movable by one person between rooms or venues, and the built-in mobile stand keeps a phone parked safely on the speaker while it streams.

Karaoke and live use

Two UHF wireless microphones are included, which turns the BT808 from a playback box into an event system. UHF links hold up better than basic infrared or wired arrangements when singers move around, and having two microphones allows duets, host-and-guest exchanges and audience participation without passing a single mic back and forth. Keep the microphones out of the speaker’s direct line of fire and a sensible distance from the cabinet to control feedback, and raise the music and mic levels gradually when the room fills, since a crowd absorbs sound and changes what the system needs. For functions, the same microphones cover speeches, prize announcements and games, making one unit serve the whole event.

Sources, pairing and power

Bluetooth 5.0 pairs quickly with phones and tablets up to about 10 metres away, and True Wireless Stereo pairing lets a second BT808 join as the other stereo channel for larger spaces. Away from Bluetooth, the speaker reads USB drives and TF cards directly, tunes FM radio for casual listening and takes a wired aux feed from a laptop, mixer or television. The 7200 mAh rechargeable battery frees the speaker from the wall for garden and terrace use; an AC power cord is included for charging and mains operation, and a remote control and user manual complete the package. Plan charging before a long event and treat battery playback time as dependent on volume, since bass-heavy music at full level draws far more than background listening.

If you need one self-contained system for music, karaoke and announcements at parties and community events, the Artis BT808 combines serious output, dual wireless microphones and flexible playback sources in a single portable cabinet.
