Triple laser picture
Separate red, green and blue lasers produce the widest colour gamut available in projection — 110% of BT.2020 — without a colour wheel, so there are no rainbow artefacts and no phosphor conversion losses. Native contrast is rated at 1,000:1, and the laser dimming works with the HDR tone mapping. Dolby Vision support is significant at this size: dynamic metadata adjusts the picture scene by scene for the growing library of Dolby Vision streaming content.
Optical zoom and auto setup
Most mini projectors have fixed lenses; the M2 Pro’s 1.3x optical zoom lets the image size be set by the lens rather than by moving furniture, covering screens from 65 to 200 inches. Automatic keystone correction, autofocus and obstacle avoidance handle the geometry when the projector is placed casually, and the zoom preserves full resolution where digital resizing would soften it.
Smart platform and audio
VIDAA, Hisense’s television operating system, provides the streaming apps with a TV-style interface and remote, and AirPlay 2, dual-band Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0 cover casting and audio output. The built-in speakers are two 10 W units with Dolby Digital and DTS Virtual:X processing for a wider soundstage than the cabinet suggests; an HDMI 2.1 input and USB 3.0 port take consoles and local media.
