The Milestone Pro MP-DA2UHD-H2 is a 1×2 HDMI distribution amplifier that sends one HDMI source to two displays simultaneously, at full quality on both. Built on the HDMI 2.0 platform with 18 Gbps bandwidth, it supports resolutions up to 4Kx2K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 8-bit colour, and it complies with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 so protected content from streaming boxes, consoles, players and PCs displays without handshake errors.
It is the straightforward solution wherever the same picture is needed in two places at once: a projector and a confidence monitor in a classroom, a TV and a second screen in another zone of a home, or duplicated displays in a small retail or signage setup.

Why downscaling and EDID management matter
When two displays of different capability share one source, the source usually falls back to the lowest common resolution, so one older 1080p screen can hold back a 4K display. The MP-DA2UHD-H2 down-scales the output for the lower-resolution display while the 4K screen keeps its full signal. The DIP-switch EDID control complements this by letting the installer fix the EDID presented to the source, avoiding the blank screens and renegotiation flicker that occur when the source simply reads whichever display responds first.
Where it is used
Common applications include home theatre second zones, classrooms and meeting rooms with a main screen plus monitor, small digital signage pairs, showroom demos and control-room duplication. The amplifier supports HDMI cable runs up to 5 m at 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 and up to 20 m at 1080p, and it is powered by the included 5V DC adapter.
