Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors

Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors

The Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors is the screen that makes an ultra short throw laser television work properly in a real living room. A plain wall scatters light in every direction, washing out the picture whenever a lamp is on, while a Fresnel screen directs the steep upward light of an ultra short throw projector toward the viewer and rejects light falling from above. The Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors is therefore the partner purchase for any Formovie UST projector owner who watches with the lights on.

Why Choose Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors?

The case for the Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors is contrast. Ultra short throw projectors are bright, but brightness alone cannot beat a lit room on a matte wall; the Fresnel lens structure is what keeps blacks dark and colours saturated when ceiling lights are on. At 100 inches it matches the most common UST setup size, its ultra-thin profile sits neatly on the wall, and it turns a projector that is only usable after dark into an everyday television replacement for films, news and sport.

Key Features

• Fresnel ALR structure: lens optics tuned to ultra short throw projection angles, rejecting overhead ambient light
• 100-inch 16:9 picture: the standard large-screen size for UST laser televisions in living rooms
• Improved daytime contrast: deeper blacks and more saturated colour with lamps on than a plain wall or standard white screen
• Ultra-thin wall profile: a neat, television-like appearance when mounted, with no bulky frame dominating the room
• Matched to Formovie UST models: designed for the steep projection angle of Formovie ultra short throw projectors

Best Suited For

The Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors suits anyone buying or owning a Formovie ultra short throw projector, living rooms that cannot be fully darkened, and buyers who want a fixed 100-inch screen rather than a motorised or portable alternative.

Setup and Connection Guide

Mount the Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors flat on the wall at the height recommended for your projector model, following the included mounting guide and checking that the screen is level in both directions. Place the ultra short throw projector on its unit at the distance specified for a 100-inch image, then use the projector focus and keystone controls to fill the screen exactly to its edges. Fresnel screens are angle-sensitive, so viewers should sit broadly in front of the screen for the best picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it with a long-throw projector?

No. The Formovie Fresnel 100 Inch ALR Projection Screen for UST Projectors is built for the steep upward angle of ultra short throw projectors; a conventional projector shining from across the room will not produce a correct picture on it.

Does it work in a bright room?

It improves bright-room viewing substantially compared with a wall or white screen by rejecting overhead light, but no screen makes a projector fully sunlight-proof, so curtains still help for critical film viewing.

What size projector image do I need?

Set the projector to a 100-inch 16:9 image and align it to the screen edges; a smaller or larger image will leave unused screen or spill light past the frame.
