Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector

Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector

The Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector is the flagship ultra short throw laser television in the Formovie range, and the successor to the original Formovie Theater. Its ALPD RGB+ 4.0 triple-laser engine, 2200 ISO lumens and 107% BT.2020 colour gamut put it in genuine home-cinema territory, while Google TV with Netflix and Bowers & Wilkins Gen 2 sound keep it a one-box living-room product. The Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector sits centimetres from the wall and throws an 80- to 150-inch 4K picture with Dolby Vision support.

Why Choose Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector?

The reason to choose the Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector over cheaper ultra short throw models is colour and headroom. Triple-laser light reaches a wider gamut than single-laser designs, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ decoding handle modern streaming masters properly, and 2200 ISO lumens keeps the picture watchable in a normal living room rather than only in a blacked-out room. Add a 30,000-hour laser life, under-18 ms ALLM gaming latency, MEMC smoothing and 30 W of tuned Bowers & Wilkins sound, and this is the UST projector for buyers who do not want to compromise.

Key Features

• Bowers & Wilkins Gen 2 sound: tuned 2 x 15 W speakers with Dolby Atmos pass-through and DTS:X support
• Google TV with Netflix: certified streaming apps, voice control and Chromecast built in

Best Suited For

The Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector suits dedicated home cinemas and premium living rooms, buyers upgrading from the original Formovie Theater or a large television, and gamers who want a huge low-latency 4K picture.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector on a low unit in front of the wall or a UST ALR screen, use motorised focus and 8-point keystone to square the picture, and sign into Google TV over Wi-Fi 6. Connect sources to HDMI, using the eARC port for a soundbar or AV receiver, and enable ALLM game mode on the console input for the lowest latency. Keep the lens path clear and the front sensor unobstructed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it need a special screen?

The Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector works on a plain wall, but a dedicated ALR or Fresnel screen for ultra short throw projection preserves contrast and colour in rooms that are not fully dark, which is why pairing it with a matching screen is worth considering.

How close to the wall does it sit?

As an ultra short throw model, the Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector sits on a low unit centimetres from the wall or screen rather than across the room, so measure your unit depth and the screen height before ordering and keep ventilation space around the chassis.

Can it replace a television?

For film, sport and streaming the Formovie Theater Premium 4K Triple Laser UST Projector is a genuine television alternative at 80 inches and above, provided the room can be dimmed for critical viewing and the sound is either the built-in speakers or an external soundbar or AV system.
