A projector can only show what the surface in front of it allows. This premium tab-tension drop-down screen is built to give a projector a flat, light-controlled surface instead of a wall: it mounts at ceiling level, lowers electrically when you want to watch, and uses an ambient light rejecting surface to hold contrast in rooms that cannot be fully darkened. Why tab-tension matters

Ordinary roll-down screens gradually develop waves and curled edges, and every ripple shows as a distortion across the picture, most visibly in panning shots and fine detail. A tab-tension system uses cables along the sides of the fabric to pull the surface taut in both directions, holding it flat across its whole area. Housing and everyday use

The aluminium alloy housing keeps the rolled screen protected and presents a clean line at ceiling level when the screen is retracted, so the room returns to normal use between films. Lowering and retracting is handled by the tubular motor, which is designed for quiet operation below 45dB. Care is simple: dust with a soft microfibre cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing on the optical surface. Installation involves fixing the housing at ceiling level with its brackets, a job best done by two people given the length of the unit.
