BenQ LU935 WUXGA Laser Projector

BenQ LU935 WUXGA Laser Projector – 6,000 Lumens for Rooms That Cannot Go Dark

Boardrooms, classrooms and training halls share one problem: the lights stay on. The BenQ LU935 is built for exactly those rooms – a laser installation projector displaying WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution at 6000 ANSI lumens, so presentations, spreadsheets and video stay legible with the blinds open and the ceiling lights running. The 16:10 WUXGA format adds vertical space over Full HD, which matters when the content is a document or a data dashboard rather than a film, and the laser light source removes lamp changes from the maintenance calendar.

Key features

• WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution in a 16:10 presentation format
• 6000 ANSI lumens for bright rooms and larger screens
• Laser light source – instant on, no lamps to replace
• 1.36 to 2.18 throw ratio with a large 1.6x optical zoom
• Lens shift for aligning the image without keystone distortion
• DLP display technology for sharp text and data graphics
• Installation-grade connectivity for fixed AV systems
• Designed for business, education and public-venue duty

WUXGA is the right shape for work

A 1920 x 1200 image carries roughly 11 percent more vertical pixels than 1920 x 1080, and in presentation work vertical space is what you actually run out of: more spreadsheet rows, taller slides, code and documents that need less scrolling. Paired with the LU935’s brightness, that resolution holds up at screen sizes where fine text usually gives up. Be clear about what it is not – this is not a 4K projector, and it does not pretend to be. For its intended content, in its intended rooms, WUXGA at 6000 lumens is the more useful specification.

Laser changes the ownership maths

A lamp projector in daily institutional use is a recurring cost and a recurring failure waiting for the worst moment. The LU935’s laser source switches on quickly, holds its brightness far longer and removes lamp purchases, lamp disposal and mid-semester failures from the facilities budget. For IT and AV teams managing rooms at scale, that reliability – not the headline lumens – is often the deciding argument.

Installation flexibility

The 1.6x zoom and 1.36-2.18 throw range let installers place the LU935 where the room demands – replacing an older unit on an existing mount position in many cases – rather than where a fixed lens dictates. Lens shift then fine-tunes the image position optically, keeping text geometry true. Plan the screen size and mount point from the throw figures, route control and signal cabling during installation, and the projector becomes part of the room’s infrastructure.

Where it earns its keep

Corporate boardrooms, university lecture spaces, training centres, houses of worship and signage-style presentation in bright public areas – anywhere content must compete with ambient light, every day, without ceremony.

For organisations that need presentations to simply work in lit rooms, the LU935 pairs the right resolution, serious brightness and laser reliability in one install-and-forget package.
