BenQ TK710 4K Laser Projector – White

BenQ TK710 – True 4K Laser Projection for Movies and Games

The BenQ TK710 is a true 4K UHD laser projector built for rooms that do more than one job. Its laser light source produces 3,200 ANSI lumens, enough brightness to hold contrast and colour in a living room with some ambient light, while still delivering the deep, detailed image a darkened movie night demands. Resolution is genuine 4K UHD, 3,840 by 2,160 pixels, so fine detail in films, sport and games survives the jump to a big screen.

Because the light source is laser rather than a lamp, brightness and colour stay consistent over years of use, with no lamp replacements to budget for and no gradual dimming changing how your films look from one season to the next.

Key features

• Laser light source rated for long life with consistent brightness and colour
• 3,200 ANSI lumens for living rooms as well as dark theatre spaces
• HDR10 and HLG support for high dynamic range content
• Low input lag for gaming, including high-refresh play at Full HD
• Optical zoom and image correction tools for flexible placement
• Designed for both films and fast-paced console and PC gaming
• White finish that sits comfortably in a modern living room

Laser light, explained

A lamp-based projector slowly loses brightness and shifts colour as the lamp ages, and eventually the lamp needs replacing. A laser light source removes that cycle. The TK710 turns on quickly, reaches its working brightness fast, and holds its output and colour balance over a long service life. In practice that means the picture you calibrate in the first month is close to the picture you are still watching years later, and the running cost of the projector stays predictable.

Built for games as well as films

Many home cinema projectors treat gaming as an afterthought, with input lag that makes fast games feel disconnected. The TK710 is designed with low input lag, so controller inputs land on screen with far less delay, and at Full HD it supports high-refresh gaming for smoother motion. A big racing game or shooter on a 100-inch-plus image is a different experience from the same game on a television, and this projector does not force you to choose between screen size and responsiveness.

Placement and everyday use

Optical zoom gives you some freedom in where the projector sits relative to the screen, and image correction tools help square up the picture when placement cannot be perfectly centred. HDR10 handling covers the mainstream streaming and disc formats, while HLG support covers broadcast-style HDR. Connect a streaming player, a disc player and a console, and the TK710 becomes the single display at the centre of the room.

For buyers stepping up from a lamp projector, or moving from a large television to real projection, the TK710 covers the two jobs most rooms actually need: convincing 4K films after dark, and responsive big-screen gaming the rest of the time.
