Motorised optics for a fixed installation

The W5800 is built to be installed once and aligned precisely. Its motorised 1.6x zoom spans a 1.52 to 2.45 throw ratio, suiting the longer throw distances of dedicated cinema rooms, and motorised lens shift moves the image plus or minus 50% vertically and plus or minus 21% horizontally – all from the remote, without touching the mount. Two-dimensional keystone correction is available as a fallback, but most installs will never need it. Screen sizes from 60 to 200 inches are supported.

HDR10+ and Filmmaker Mode

HDR10+ dynamic metadata lets the W5800 tone-map compatible films scene by scene, preserving highlight detail in bright frames and shadow detail in dark ones instead of applying one compromise curve to the whole film. Filmmaker Mode presents content at its native frame rate and colour without added motion smoothing or sharpening. Motion Enhancer processing is available for sport, and input lag of 17.9 ms at 4K/60 Hz makes casual console gaming entirely practical.

Quiet, system-friendly design

A multi-channel cooling system keeps noise to 30 dB in Normal mode and 27 dB in Eco mode – quiet enough to disappear under a film soundtrack from the seating position. There is no built-in speaker, by design: audio leaves through HDMI eARC with 7.1-channel pass-through or the S/PDIF optical output to the AV receiver or soundbar a dedicated room will already have. Two HDMI 2.0b inputs, USB media ports, RS232 and LAN cover sources and automation, and the laser runs for years without lamp maintenance.
