Edifier S1000MKII Active Bookshelf Speakers – Brown

Edifier S1000MKII Brown Active Bookshelf Speakers

The Edifier S1000MKII Brown is a pair of 120W RMS active bookshelf speakers with 5.5-inch aluminium woofers, titanium dome tweeters and Bluetooth aptX HD It is made for listeners who want a straightforward, reliable upgrade without a complicated setup, and it fits naturally into a home desk, living room or studio routine.

Why Choose Edifier S1000MKII Brown?

Each cabinet is tri-amped in effect through a Class-D design with DSP crossover, so bass, midrange and treble stay clean even at higher volumes. The aluminium woofers give bass real weight for their size, while the titanium tweeters extend cleanly to 40kHz for detailed highs, and no separate amplifier is needed at all.

Buyers choose this model because it keeps the everyday experience simple: connect a source, set a comfortable level and listen. There is no separate amplifier to match, no complex menu to learn, and the controls stay within easy reach during normal use.

Key Features of Edifier S1000MKII Brown

• 120W RMS total output: 35W plus 35W for mid-bass and 25W plus 25W for tweeters.
• 5.5-inch aluminium woofers: Punchy, low-distortion bass from aluminium alloy drivers.
• Titanium dome tweeters: Crisp treble extending to 40kHz.
• Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD: High-quality wireless streaming from phones, tablets and laptops.
• Optical, coaxial and line inputs: Wired connections for TVs, computers and disc players, plus remote control.

Best Suited For

The speakers suit audiophile desks, small listening rooms and home theatre fronts where a powered pair can replace a separates system.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the active right speaker and passive left speaker on stands or a sturdy surface, connect them with the supplied speaker cable, then connect a source by Bluetooth, optical, coaxial or line-in. Use the rear knobs and remote to set volume and input, and keep the speakers clear of walls for the best bass balance.

Looking after this kind of gear is mostly about simple habits: keep it dry and out of direct heat, wipe dust from vents and grilles with a soft dry cloth, and store cables loosely coiled rather than sharply bent. Avoid dropping the unit, and keep it away from liquids, since water and impact damage are the most common causes of avoidable faults.

Sound quality also depends on the source and the room. A well-recorded track or a good stream at a higher quality setting will sound noticeably better than a low-bitrate file, and placing a speaker away from a wall corner usually gives a cleaner, less boomy balance. Small adjustments to placement and volume often make a bigger difference than any single setting.
