The Focal 300ICW6 In-Ceiling Speaker is a two-way loudspeaker for ceilings and walls, built around a 6.5 inch Flax cone woofer and a 1 inch aluminium-magnesium inverted dome tweeter that rotates 360 degrees and carries a level switch. Flax fibre gives the cone a natural, articulate character that suits both music and film, and the 65 Hz to 28 kHz response covers most material without a subwoofer in smaller rooms. The Focal 300ICW6 In-Ceiling Speaker is the mid-size 300 series model, balancing output, bandwidth and a discreet ceiling or wall fit.
Why Choose This Product?
The Focal 300ICW6 In-Ceiling Speaker is a versatile workhorse: it serves as a stereo pair, a surround, or a whole-home speaker, and its adjustable tweeter aims the highs at the seats even when the speaker sits flat. The EQI tool-free mounting system and round and square paintable magnetic grilles keep it discreet, while 89 dB sensitivity and 25 to 130 watts of recommended power mean it works with most receivers. For listeners who want the 300 series Flax sound without the larger 8 inch model, this is the balanced choice.

Best Suited For
The Focal 300ICW6 In-Ceiling Speaker suits living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and home cinemas where a discreet speaker must still sound like a proper hi-fi speaker. It works as a stereo pair, as surrounds, and as multi-room zone speakers, and it pairs naturally with other Focal 300 series models.
Setup and Connection Guide
Cut an 8.5 inch opening using the template, wire the speaker from an amplifier rated 25 to 130 watts into 8 ohms, and mount it at 3.94 inches of depth using the tool-free EQI system. Rotate the tweeter toward the main listening position, set its level switch for the room, and fit the round or square paintable magnetic grille. Add a subwoofer for full cinema bass in larger rooms.
