Monitor Audio PRO-65 In-Ceiling Speaker (Each)

Whole-house audio does not have to start with expensive speakers. The Pro-65 is Monitor Audio’s entry into architectural audio: a straightforward in-ceiling speaker designed to put decent sound into kitchens, bedrooms, hallways and offices at a price that lets you fit out the whole house.

Expectations should be calibrated — this is background and everyday listening, not critical hi-fi — but the sound is clean and balanced, a clear step above generic contractor speakers. It handles speech and music comfortably at normal volumes.

Installation follows the standard cut-and-clamp method, and paintable grilles blend into any ceiling. Sold individually. For multi-room projects on a budget, it is the sensible specification.

For multiroom systems, plan zones before buying: kitchens and living areas usually want stereo pairs, hallways and bathrooms manage with one. The Pro-65 price makes generous coverage affordable — wire for more rooms than you think you need.

Speaker cable runs back to a multiroom amplifier or AV receiver zone output — standard 2-core cable is all it needs.
