Amazon Echo Dot 4TH Gen With Clock Twilight Blue Smart Speaker

Amazon Echo Dot 4th Gen With Clock Twilight Blue – The Bedside Alexa, Perfected

The Echo Dot with Clock takes the compact spherical Dot and adds the one thing a bedside speaker should never make you reach for your phone to see: the time. Its LED display sits behind the fabric and shows the hour at a glance, then switches to timers, alarms and outdoor temperature when asked. In Twilight Blue it does all of this while looking like a deliberate piece of the room rather than a gadget left on the nightstand.

Key features

• LED display showing time, alarms, timers and temperature
• 1.6-inch front-firing speaker in the spherical fourth-generation design
• Alexa voice control for music, news, reminders and smart home
• Tap-to-snooze for alarms – no voice needed at 6 a.m.
• Microphone-off button for physical privacy control
• Streams music and podcasts from major services over Wi-Fi
• Twilight Blue finish exclusive to this colourway

Made for the nightstand

Every detail of the with-Clock model is aimed at the bedside. The display auto-dims so it will not light the room at night, alarms can be snoozed with a tap on top, and the sunrise-friendly routine support can ease lights and music up in the morning. Checking a countdown while cooking or a timer from the desk is equally glanceable – the display is information stripped of everything unnecessary.

Full Alexa in a compact sphere

Underneath, it is the complete fourth-generation Dot: far-field voice recognition, music and podcast streaming, calls and announcements to other Echo devices, and control of compatible smart lights, plugs and more. Voice routines – one command for lights, news and the coffee plug – work exactly as they do on the largest Echo in the range.

Sound sized to its spaces

The 1.6-inch front-firing driver is tuned for near-field listening: clear speech for briefings and podcasts, and music that fills a bedroom or study without strain. It is not trying to be a party speaker; it is trying to be the speaker you hear most often, in the rooms where you spend the quiet hours.

For bedrooms, desks and anywhere the time should be visible without a phone, the Echo Dot with Clock in Twilight Blue is the most useful small Alexa you can buy.
