Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash

Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash

The Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash is the mid-sized powered subwoofer in Fyne’s F3 range, built to add genuine low-frequency weight to home cinema and music systems without dominating the room. Its 250 mm long-throw driver, 475 W of Direct Digital Amplification and DSP control reach down to the low thirties in hertz, while a Bass Boost mode lifts the critical movie LFE band for film nights. The Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash partners with bookshelf and floorstanding speakers alike, filling in the bass they cannot reach.

Why Choose Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash?

The strength of the Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash is control at a sensible size. Direct Digital Amplification keeps the driver under tight command, the large down-firing port avoids chuffing at high levels, and dedicated LFE and stereo RCA inputs with filtering, phase control and a 12 V trigger make it easy to integrate with an AV receiver or a stereo amplifier. It is the subwoofer for rooms and systems where the larger F3-12 would be overkill but a small lifestyle sub would run out of breath on film soundtracks.

Best Suited For

Setup and Connection Guide

Connect the Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash to the AV receiver subwoofer output for home cinema, or to a stereo amplifier pre-out for music, then set phase and level by ear from the listening seat. Place it near the front speakers first, away from a bare corner if bass sounds boomy, and run the receiver room calibration if available. Leave the down-firing port clear of rugs and obstructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What amplifier do I need?

The Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash is a passive speaker, so pair it with an amplifier inside the recommended power range in the specification table (the recommended range in the specification table); too little clean power is a more common problem than too much, because clipping damages drivers.

Does placement matter?

Yes. Keep the Fyne Audio F3-10 Active Subwoofer – Black Ash clear of corners if bass sounds boomy, toe the pair slightly toward the listening seat, and keep the tweeter close to ear height for the most even stereo image.

Is it sold singly or as a pair?

Check the listing quantity before ordering: tower and bookshelf models in this range are normally priced per pair in India, while centre and in-ceiling models are normally priced per unit, and this listing follows the sheet unit for its row.
