The flat cabinet is the point of this design: it can lie flat under or beside furniture, stand upright, or be fixed vertically to a wall with the included wall-mounting device, so a proper subwoofer fits rooms where a conventional cube subwoofer would not. Volume and crossover are adjusted with controls on the underside, and a real-time limiter protects the driver at high volumes.
