Gallo Acoustics Profile Subwoofer (White)

Gallo Acoustics Profile Subwoofer – Slim On-Wall Bass, White Finish

The Profile is Gallo Acoustics’ slim subwoofer, finished here in white, designed to supply the low frequencies that the company’s Micro and A’Diva satellite speakers cannot reach – in an enclosure shallow enough to mount flush against a wall rather than stand on the floor as a box.

That form factor is the product. Satellite systems are chosen to disappear, and a conventional cube subwoofer undoes the discretion the satellites bought. The Profile hangs on the wall like the speakers it partners, keeping the system visually quiet while adding the bass weight that makes films convincing and music complete.

Key features

• Slim powered subwoofer in white finish
• Shallow enclosure designed for on-wall mounting
• Supplies the low end for Micro and A’Diva satellite systems
• Sealed-style control keeps bass tight rather than boomy
• Completes Gallo satellite systems for film and music
• Pairs visually with light-finish Gallo satellites
• Standard subwoofer controls for level and crossover blending

Why satellites need a proper partner

A 4-inch sphere is a brilliant midrange and treble device and a physically incapable bass device; no engineering changes the air volume it can move. A satellite system therefore stands or falls on its subwoofer integration. The Profile is voiced for the Gallo satellites, with the crossover behaviour and controlled, sealed character that lets the handover disappear – dialogue stays clear, music gains warmth, and effects arrive with weight instead of a separate, locatable boom.

Placement on the wall

Wall mounting puts the Profile where floor-standing boxes cannot go: behind a sofa line, beside a media unit, or flanking the screen wall with the satellites. It also couples the subwoofer to the room predictably and keeps floors clear for furniture and cleaning. Run the subwoofer output of an AV receiver or stereo amplifier to its inputs, set level and crossover once, and the system is whole.

Who the Profile Subwoofer suits

Choose the Profile if your Gallo Micro or A’Diva system sounds thin at the bottom end, or if you are specifying a discreet satellite system from scratch. The white finish suits pale interiors and light-finish satellites. It is the finishing piece that makes a small-speaker system sound like a full-size one.

Set-up guidance

Connect the Profile to your receiver or amplifier’s subwoofer output, mount it at the front of the room near the satellites it supports, and set its crossover in the upper range appropriate for small satellites so the handover sits above the satellites’ natural roll-off. Level-match by ear with familiar music: the goal is a foundation you sense rather than a box you can point to. Once set, the system needs no further attention – which suits the discreet brief entirely.
