Sonos Era 100 Wall Mount (White)

Flexson Wall Mount for Sonos Era 100 (White)

This wall mount is made by Flexson, the Sonos accessory specialist, and is designed specifically for the Sonos Era 100 speaker. It is Flexson model FLXE100WM1011 in white, colour matched to a white Era 100. Wall mounting lifts the speaker off shelves, counters and side tables, places it at a proper listening height, and keeps surfaces clear, which is exactly what a compact speaker like the Era 100 benefits from in kitchens, bedrooms and smaller rooms.

Aiming the sound

A wall-mounted speaker usually sits above ear level, so the mount’s tilt and swivel do the useful work. The tilting mechanism angles the Era 100 downward by up to 15 degrees, directing sound toward the listening position instead of across the top of the room. Swivel of 80 degrees in total, 40 degrees each way, turns the speaker toward a seating area, a worktop or a bed. Together they let a pair of Era 100s work properly as a stereo pair or as rear surrounds even when the only available wall positions are not perfectly symmetrical, because each speaker can be aimed after it is fixed.

Fit, finish and cable handling

The mount is precision engineered around the Era 100’s shape, with a base that fits the speaker neatly and holds it securely. The white finish matches the white Era 100 so the bracket reads as part of the speaker rather than an add-on. The design hides the cable entry, keeping the power lead tidy where it meets the speaker, and the speaker can be inverted in the mount when a high mounting position would otherwise put the top-panel controls out of reach. The mount measures 153 mm high, 120 mm wide and 176 mm deep.

Fitting and use around the home

Flexson supplies fixings for brick and masonry as well as brick and studwork walls, and the mount is designed for quick assembly. Choose a position at or slightly above ear height where the tilt can do its work, keep the speaker a sensible distance from corners to avoid boomy bass, and confirm the wall fixing is sound before hanging the speaker, which is sold separately. One mount holds one speaker, so a stereo or surround pair needs two. Used singly in a hallway or bathroom, or in multiples through the home, it gives a multi-room Era 100 setup a clean, deliberate placement in every room.

For Era 100 owners who want the speaker off the furniture and aimed properly at the room, this Flexson mount is the purpose-built way to do it.
