ARCAM SA20 Class G Integrated Amplifier

Arcam SA20 Class G Integrated Amplifier
Arcam SA20 is a stereo Class G integrated amplifier rated at 90W per channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven under the stated test conditions. Analogue and digital inputs make it a central amplifier for a traditional two-channel listening system. Why Choose Arcam SA20? The built-in MM phono input accommodates a suitable turntable, while the ESS9038K2M DAC processes compatible digital sources. Its Ethernet connection supports control integration; it should not be presented as proof of built-in music streaming. Add a suitable external streamer when that source is required. Key Features – Class G amplification: balances low-level operation and higher output demand. – 90W per channel into 8 ohms: the stated continuous stereo rating. – ESS9038K2M DAC: handles supported digital input conversion. – MM phono input: supports a compatible turntable cartridge. Best Suited For
Two-channel hi-fi systems using passive loudspeakers and compatible analogue or digital sources. Choose the amplifier around speaker impedance, room needs and the required inputs. Continuous power figures are most useful when compared with their load and test conditions rather than as a single unexplained wattage. Setup and Connection Guide
Place the amplifier with the ventilation required by its manual and connect the speakers with consistent polarity while power is off. Use line-level inputs for suitable players and the phono input only for its supported cartridge type. Select the source, start with volume low and test both channels. For television or digital sources, set a supported output format and check the entire signal path. Frequently Asked Questions
Does its Ethernet port provide built-in network music streaming? Arcam specifies IP control for the SA20. Do not treat that as the streaming platform of a different Arcam model. Connect a suitable external music streamer for the required network audio services. Can it decode every surround-sound format like an AV receiver? A stereo integrated amplifier is designed for two-channel listening. Use the appropriate audio format and choose a suitable AV receiver when multichannel cinema decoding is required. Can an MC cartridge connect directly to an MM input? An MM phono input is designed for the specified moving-magnet signal requirements. An MC cartridge may need a suitable separate phono stage or other matching arrangement; check cartridge output and loading before connection. Technical Specifications Specification
